We are in the heat of the summer down in Venice, Louisiana and we have seen a huge influx of mahi mahi. While the tuna fishing is picking with some bigger yellowfin at the close rigs, the mahi mahi have been stacked on the rip line and grass mats. Red snapper and mangrove fishing have been exceptional with some cobia showing up inshore as well. Tuna fishing should continue to get better as we move into August.
